Construction of the CP361 Renewable Energy Improvements Project at the
Monterey One Water Regional Treatment Plant. Work involves replacement of digester gas piping and
gas safety equipment and associated supports, replacement of two access roof hatches (cover and
frame) on each digester with provisions for concrete repair, recoating interior headspace of each
digester, concrete repairs to the four digesters and digester building, installing new level measurement
device on each digester, installing five linear generators (purchased by M1W with an expected delivery
date of approximately September 2028. Contractor shall coordinate the exact delivery date with
manufacturer/supplier (Mainspring Energy, Inc.) and M1W.) and associated electrical, installing biogas
conditioning equipment and RNG Upgrading system, installing a RNG injection pipeline from the RNG
upgrading system to PG&E’s injection station, replacing steam boiler and steam system appurtenances
with heating water boiler and hydronic system, replacing existing waste gas flares with new enclosed
flares, demolition of the Cogen facility and appurtenances, and other civil, structural, mechanical,
electrical, demolition related improvements.
The Work under this Contract is to be completed as follows:
Substantial Completion 1,140 Calendar Days (from Notice to Proceed)
Final Acceptance 1,200 Calendar Days (from Notice to Proceed)
Milestone A (as defined in Section 01140) 50 Calendar Days (from Notice to Proceed)
Milestone B (as defined in Section 01140) 225 Calendar Days (from Notice to Proceed)
