HVAC and electrical systems were temporarily removed or modified as needed to accommodate structural steel work. Interior finishes were restored upon completion to return the office spaces to their original condition.

]]> A community-led renovation of the historic Lafayette Park Theater is underway. Originally opened in 1941, the Art Deco landmark sat vacant for two decades.
In 2019, local residents formed The Park Theater Trust鈥攁 501(c)(3) public benefit organization鈥攖o restore the theater and reimagine it as an accessible hub for arts, entertainment, and culture. With a grant from the City of Lafayette and generous support from local businesses and families, construction is now in progress.聽 The project will feature two state-of-the-art theaters operated by CinemaSF, plus a community room, rooftop bar, concessions, and more.

]]> Currently in design/preconstruction, this is a fast track collaborative design-build project consisting 3 major components. The first is the seismic upgrade of existing non-structural (NPC-4) components throughout the entire hospital complex. The work requires careful attention to detail and in depth collaboration with the active hospital staff in an occupied facility. This work will include upgrades to medical equipment, mechanical, plumbing and electrical systems. The second component is to increase the hospitals capabilities to operate standalone from existing city infrastructure and will require the installation of tankage to store, water, sanitary waste and fuel. The final major component is to provide structural upgrades to the existing hospital building to withstand current seismic requirements.
